Instagram was always known as the social app exclusively for the iPhone. An app where apple users were given the stage to play out their life stories and passions through pictures. This was not a mere app for iPhone users, it was an exclusive community, which in the end made any iPhone user proud to be one. It may have been one of the top plus’ to owning an iPhone until yesterday when Instagram opened up to Android users.
The overall outrage from iPhone users that went viral on Instagram was an entertaining site to see. There was no such thing as a warm welcome mat for the Android community. iPhone users feel as though their exclusive community has been invaded and the dynamics of Instagram will never be the same.
